Seminar Overview:

NYSTLA Past President & Dean Emeritus, Gary Pillersdorf, has updated his classic trial advocacy clinic.  The program, featuring a star-studded faculty of members of the bench and bar will run for 5 consecutive Wednesdays, starting May 4th.  


The ALL NEW CLINIC will feature:

Courtroom Ethics & Civility and Workshop Participation in all aspects of a trial.

Each week, following a brief lecture on rules and techniques, registrants will divide into small breakout groups where they  will have an opportunity to be advised, mentored and critiqued by courtroom legends and members of the Judiciary to:
1. Select the Best Jury 
2. Make an Opening Statement 
3. Call the Plaintiff for Direct Examination
4. Call a Doctor for his or her Direct Medical Examination
5. Cross Examine the Defendant Doctor
6. Sum up to the Jury 


Materials will be provided to prepare you for anything that may come up in the courtroom, from motions in limine, evidentiary challenges to requests to charge: the stuff you will bring on every trip to Court!
